We cannot understand why Microsoft would want to hide Word's features from us. Many people learn by making mistakes, and they are reducing the use of Word's features by not allowing us to discover them.
Let’s show them all.
From Word’s menu, choose ToolsŕCustomize. Click on the Options tab. Check both boxes at the top, and hit OK.
You may notice that your toolbars have moved around a bit, but you should now be able to see all of the toolbar buttons available to you.
